ApplySafely provides a secure payment capture service to organizations and large teams. This policy covers the website at applysafely.com and the payment link service it hosts. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.
When a client enters payment details through a one-time link, those details are encrypted in the client's own browser before they are transmitted, using a key that exists only on the computer of the agent who created the link. The service receives and stores only the encrypted scrambled details, holds it for at most 30 minutes or until it is collected, and deletes it on collection. The service has no key to the scrambled details and cannot read its contents at any point. The service does not retain payment details, does not retain client names, and does not record who a link was sent to.
The decrypted details exist only on the agent's computer and in the application the agent is completing on the client's behalf. How that application is handled is governed by the agent's organization, not by this policy.
If you use the contact or demo forms, we collect what you enter: your name, organization, work email address, and optionally your phone number, role, team size, states of operation, scheduling preferences and message. We use it to respond to you and to evaluate whether your organization is eligible for the service. We keep it for as long as needed for that purpose and for our records of the enquiry. We do not sell it and do not share it with third parties except service providers that help us operate, named below.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes connection data such as IP addresses and request logs in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or any third-party tracking scripts on this website or on the payment link pages. This website sets no cookies of its own. Typefaces on this website are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the requests needed to deliver them. The payment link pages load nothing from any third party.
The controls that protect payment details are described in full on the security page. Information submitted through the website's forms is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled systems.
You may ask us to correct or delete information you submitted through the website's forms by writing to us through the contact page. Because the service holds no readable payment details and does not record client identities, there is no client payment information for us to retrieve or delete.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with its date.
